Very gald you love your Mo. I think they are not No. 1 so they don't care to issue re-calls to fix problems. I had several recalls to fix problems. So far it's been great (3 yrs) without any problem.
I have the same driving experience as you. V8 performance means the high torque at low rev. the engine only runs 1600 rmp cruising at 65 mph, thus the noise is low. We have a Durango (V8) at work and I think MO performance is in par of Durano plus handles much much better.
