when you told employer about extra rent,you told them the salary they offered is not attractive as they thought based on your previous salary,you are telling them that you will not get benefit from their offer,so you don't have to do so,especially,you have to go far away from your home.
Since what you tell is reasonable,they will consider it if they want you.

Before you start your work and show your ability,no one can really figure out how good you are and market price at the area is a just range,what the range from $30,000 to 90,000 will give you?
