Actually, before the new hirer joined the group, my manager liked me. He even persuaded me to join his group two years ago as he has trouble to find someone who can work overtime and work smart. I joined his group and became the key member. However since the new higher came, I guess he likes the new hirer a lot (female). He treat the new hirer much better. He spoiled her.

I think I was punished for working too much. I can tell the manager starts to hide a lot learning opportunities. I could not involved a lot of projects.

I will stay and watch and learn how to fight for my rights in the smart way. I am patient. If I could not find the way to fight through up the position I want, I will never get it.
