offer

I got an offer today. The offer was given at the same salary when I left work force two years ago. I tried to counter for only about 5% increase in the salary, but the headcounter made it firm that the employer won't consider it and would walk away. I haven't been looking for a job for a while, how's the market now? Shall I take the offer or keep looking for? Thanks
