I spoke with XXX(VP) today about the list of things that need to get done. He feels like many of the tasks can be accomplished with technology, and does not want anyone to return until the systems are fully ready. At that point, we need to re-evaluate everyones roles and responsibilities. XXXX is one of the areas we will be reviewing closely in order to improve efficiencies.
I do not know how this waiting period impacts you, but I think it is important to let you know what we are doing and why. I am sorry I cannot provide further details or timelines. However, if this is causing you hardship, I would like to know so that we can have a more in depth conversation.
