Really need you guys' help!
I have worked for a Fortune top 5 company for 5+ years. Just got a part-time MBA from a top-20 program. A PHD from mechanical engineering, and totally have 10+ experience in engineering.
Not sure what to do next after MBA? It seems hard to find a MBA type job inside company as most managers told me my background was perfect for an engineering position.Shall I leave GE, or continue working in GE's engineering work? If continue working on engineering work, then MBA is just another useless degree on the shelf? If I choose to leave GE, what is the best option, banking industry?
Also I am very hesitative to have a big change on the field I will be working on next. I am approaching age 40? Seems a little late.
Any thoughts?
