回複：請教,2-week notice

謝謝tank前幾天的回複, 關於現在老板作reference. 我後來沒把他列入. 但作為supervisor, 我還是得提供他的info. I asked the new firm to check with him after I accept the offer.
-- You really do not have to tell your supervisor's name while you apply jobs.
-- Try to protect yourself next time.

現在的問題是how important is 2-week notice on resign letter.
-- Usually employee give two weeks notice as a professional.
-- After employee hand out the resign letter, some company may let you go in the same day if you are going to work for their compatitor.
我不清楚background check 要多久, 而現公司的6-month bonus 3 月重旬就能發了. 我想試試有沒有可能拿了再走.
-- Yes, I will try to do the same.
-- However, if my supervisor/manager knowing I am going to jump, usually they will not give me higher bonus unless the bonus is a fixed percentage factor for everybody.
