Schedule is a very generic term. It could be an excel spreadsheet to support various significant account balances, eg. a fixed assets schedule to show the detailed list of fixes assets and their depreciation + A/D, etc.
Mentioning your excel skills like VLookup, Macro and Pivot Table to the interviewer shows that you are very good at excel and are comfortable using excel. This will help your chance of getting the job.
