背景：MSCS + MBA （瞎混的）+ １０年工作經念

現就職於一大公司。 TITLE是Sr. Software Engineer， 剛拿到公司內部另一部門的Architect的OFFER。

從工資來看，新職位（Architect）比我現在（Sr. Software Engineer）多＄１０K，但我現在也已拿到６位數（且我所在城市的生活費用不高），所以並不造成實質性區別。

從工作性質講，當Architect會比我現在辛苦得多。

其實我是滿喜歡我現在的工作，當時之所以申請， 是想到當了Architect以後，今後的發展空間更大。

我是快奔４０的人，最近人的精力和體力比以前差了不少，所以不想太折騰或做些沒有很好ROI的冒險。

和幾個做IT的朋友（非Architect）聊了聊，他們都說Architect的工作並不穩定，而且丟了工作後，比Sr. Software Engineer難找。

-- However, you are already a Sr. Developer, you still can find developer job whenever you need. Architect role will make you learn more good and new stuff, so it will help your future job hunting.
