term position 的工作我能做嗎？

我是h1b轉h4，上周投了一個大公司，recruiter第二天就來電希望約個時間聊聊，後來
仔細閱讀job description,發現有這麽一條：

This is a 12-18 month term position with the possibility of being extended.
Benefits will be provided.

我覺得這是個contract position，因為身份問題沒有給她回電。今天recruiter又來電
話，希望談談，他們應該對我很有興趣。可是，我需要h4轉h1b才能工作。term
position 的工作我能做嗎？
