My concern is:
I accepted a new offer about 10 days ago, that had defined salary and sign-on bonus, benefit package, and start date, etc. Yesterday, however, I received an email asking for details of the last employment (not current employment) for background check purpose. In employment history, I entered an inaccurate salary range that quite HIGHER than real salary of the last employment (for the current employment (about 5.5 years), employment data are very accurate. I am wondering if such an inaccuracy employment data affects this promising offer?
