背景調查到底查什麽

有誰知道背景調查到底查什麽？哪一年來美國？來美國之前去過哪些國家，居留多久
都查得出來嗎？我來美國之前跟隨老公去過日本和歐洲，在這些國家當了若幹年家
庭主婦。不寫這段經曆可以嗎？就不知背景調查是否都能查出來。多謝！
