There are lots of "I" because it is a questionnaire/self assessment. In my opinion, it's nothing to do with a self-centered leader. Any self assessment questionnaire will have lots "I" thing. On the contrary, even this is not a all-inclusive leadership competency assessment, it is a fairly comprehensive questionnaire regarding leadership and it provides useful advices of how to become a successful leader.
By the way, the questionnaire is quoted from book: Effective Leadership- The essential guide to thinking and working smarter, a very good book for people who are interesting in learning leadership.
