I need to present some faulse positive data tomorrow to management. I hope they would not show up so that this would not become a big issue.
How do I down-play this thing? My boss obviously did not realize how serious this is until today when I showed him the slide. He suggested to let the person who generated this data "talk through it". Given that my new year's resolution is to basically shut up, how do I down-play this so that my opponent, the person who hid the true data for a while, does not look bad? He is the golden boy here, untouchable.
Thanks for any advice.
