You have to know postdoc is not a job, it is just a training process. During this process you have to work hard for your future. Word extremely hard for 3-5 years to get great publications, and you will have your life then. You work for yourself, not for your boss. Working during thanksgiving day is very typical for many people here (including us people). However, if you do not want to get postdoc traing, just want to get a job, things will be different.Ask yourself, what you really want. No free lunch in the world.
I have different suggestions than others.
