I have an MBA and a master of accountancy,3.8 GPA, worked for a small company for 2.5 years as a staff accountant. I have been looking for audit & tax position with a CPA firm for a while, but got refused many times, so I am confused. Could lz and somebody give me a hint on this situation? Is it that CPA firms just don't want somebody without public accounting experience? Then why they hire from newly graduates? Or just I need to try harder and some good luck?
