I think the way you answered "Can you find XXX yourself?" is not very professional. You can say "Sorry, I really want to help but my hands are really tight with something (find something you are working on for K or the big boss). Can you find this for him? or you have to wait for a while. CC it to the requestor and K and let them wait forever.
