One of the first few trainings in any US companies is the Harassment training. Even you do not have witness or evidence now, it is a good idea to schedule (via email and print out that email) a meeting with your direct supervior and one HR representative to address your concern. By law, HR has to attend this meeting and keep a record. After that, you need to pay attention to any sign of retaliation and collect evidence. If you feel there is one (diret or indirect), I bet many lawyers are eager to serve you for free to sue your company's ass off. Normally they will settle and you can retire early. Especially if there is any layoff, you'll probably be the last one on the list. Good luck!
This is a great opportunity!
