I received email inquiry for a developer position from Amazon's in-house recruiter recently and wondering if anybody has experience about this company's working culture ,compensation and benefit ,stock options ...

Actually I received such inquiry for the last 2 years but I didn't pay attention to it ,now the third year they checked me out , I am not sure why they consider candidate from NYC area while the position is in Seatle. Because of my carrier level telecom IT background ??
