my suggestion...

1. I am sure that you will have a high chance to LEAD the next project since you expressed strong interest;
2. You will definitely be promoted when this project is done successfully that the team realizes your team work attitude and the ability to communicate well with others, include listen, respect, commitement, and compromise if needed;
3. all comments above are valuable to you but you need to "copy" and "paste" it in the right direction/location.
