My wife got a financial advisor job from Morgan Stanley. Base salary is a bit more than her current job and potential bonus is quite some more.
The pros of this position, compared to her current one, are that she can meet people face by face which we think is important in financial sector; and Morgan is a good name; and skills built in that position sound pretty valuable; and her current position offer few career development opportunity (most bothering factor for her).
The cons include a much longer commute and job security is not clear.
Should she go for it?
Take this job?
