lots of companies already (or plan) to outsource portion of their business to APAC for cost-cutting. cost in india is not low anymore. actually outsourcing is slowing down since lots of company realized the benefit they got was offset by the drawback as well. i still think us the best place for chip design. if i were you, i would not give up after 10 years experince. chip-design is not sunset business YET.
