humble 不是用來 be 的，忍不住說一句。

最近也不知這裏為什麽刮起了"be humble"的風，好家夥好多帖子和回帖裏都有，不知道誰挑起了但是能看出追風的很多很多。

我說，humble 這個詞是用來形容某一類人的，而不是人人需要模仿的行為準則！
有些人天性就是humble的性格，一舉一動，一言一行都給人humble的感覺。但是如果你去刻意模仿，恰恰會適得其反。一類模仿者會給人做作的感覺，進而被人疏遠；另一類，演技好事事時時注意表現出自然的謙遜，但是一輩子總有一兩次打回原型，而一兩次的露餡足以讓人認識真正的你，這樣的你謙遜就成了謙卑。

個人覺得美國人心中的字典裏是沒有humble這個詞的，我從沒在我周圍的同事中體驗到這種感覺，相反，他們的自我表現和背後議論牢騷的能力非常之強。讓美國人humble恐怕比登月還難。

所以，humble是中華民族的“美德”。我之所以打引號，是因為我真的不確定這個是好事還是壞事。aggressive也許是美國人和日本人的“美德”，但是，“入鄉隨俗”這個詞在這裏很重要，你在美國刻意去裝humble就會被歸為另類，角落裏蹲著吧。

看來忍不住說了不止一句，隻是希望我們中國人在國外要多表現出“龍”的姿態，跟多的aggressive才能在這個世界穩穩的立足。
