My Chinese colleage has exactly the same problem.

I have tried all what I can do, negotiate, fight, stay away. Nothing works. This kind of person is the bug for a team. Unfortunitely, it exists at many places.

Your boss may use " communication skill" as an excuse to mitigate the confliction and even give you an negative comment.

What you can do is
Preactivity:
1. learn as many as possible what you can from your current company and prepare for searching a new job.

Current activity:
2. try to find good partners and show that you can work very well with other colleagues. (團結一切可以團結的力量, 孤立敵人)
3. Enlarge your visibilies to different levels. Your boss can not decide everything just by himself.

It is hard, but need to pay attention. Since you are his big competitor. He will never stop until you or he leaves.

This kind of person will not walk too far. Save your energy to think more about your life and future.
