Profit increase pays the cost of high unemployment.

You know each major company cut thousands of employees in the winter. If the profit does not increase after two quarters, Dow will go back to about 7500 or even lower.

For IT companies, the change is more obvious than traditional companies like catepillar, etc.

I am not an economist and can't judge correctly. But I think we are approaching the bottom if not yet.
