電訊職業規劃

國內工科畢業,在一世界top5的外企作了幾年產品市場營銷(fast moving consumer products).北美top MBA畢業後在電訊營運商作策略分析,後轉作產品開發(電訊)多年.

問題是我作的產品是enterprise IP network (e.g. cisco, junitper),雖然修過相關的EE/CS課,但沒做過network engineer,總覺的技術和信心都不夠. 這個細分市場裏人們好象隻看重engineers和sales, business的學曆和經驗不值錢.而且這個市場越來越小.

如果轉做telecom services for the consumer market (e.g. internet, wireless), 我有市場的優勢, 但沒upper layers/applications 技術 as my focus has been routing and switching.

我想聽聽電訊內行人的建議. 謝謝!
