speed of interview and feedback are all case-by-case, some company urgently need someone on board right away due to resource turnover etc... they may need to set up interview and give feedback quickly.... some are targeting for long term expansion, which will take much longer.
in today's market, most companies are very patient on this front ,meaning the hiring manager usually don't mind interviewing hundreds of ppl before making decision.... for instance, a job interview I had before: first round they interviewed 45 people, then filter out 25 for 2nd round, then 5 for third round.....with all the hope after final interview, i was shocked to find out that they are still interviewing ppl for first round....
be patient, esp for big firms.....it probably has nothing to do with your hubby's interview skills etc...
