Your article is truly admired and so much respectful, I mean it. It’s a shame and also a pity that the PHD scientist was treated like an animal by the billionaire CEO who obviously is much more powerful in many certain ways. I, personally, never accept or show any appreciation to such "successful' entrepreneurs even if they created employment opportunities, added value to the society, and even enhanced my personal life style. However, I do not blame them either. I do have to accept the fact that people are compensated significantly different.
“To reward those diligent, beautiful minds with compensation commensurate with their contribution and sacrifice”. NO, even this so called compensation did and do exist, it’s never enough. The reality is, there are no easy, simply solutions to proper compensate scientists for so many years and in so many social systems.
I am grateful, though. Money, social status, or frame wouldn’t fulfill a true scientist’s dream, and the recognition of his/her achievements is the sense of being exiting as what he/she was created for by God. Therefore, we do not need to take it granted. We wish them happy research, invent, and innovate.
If this a muggle
I have to come back and Ding this.
