Congratulations!
My knowledge of private equity was based on the movie Pretty Woman and the demise of Mervyn's last year. Not a first-hand experience for sure. But I would dare to say that this is not the right way to pull America out its current misery. Rather it might be one of the factors that contribute to the destruction of the innovation spirits in Corporate America: if you can EARN a sizable return in 3-5 years by buying and selling an enterprise, why bother to invest in research work that would not generate dividends in a decade?
Maybe I am too sarcastic. What I want to say is that what America really needs is innovation in real technologies or novel products, not another way of using capital to GROW money!
