It is a tough market for people like you. Most recruiters have thousands of resume for a single job opening (since the new jobs are so few!).
Since you have identified your shortcomings, work on a quick fix and a long-term upgrade of those skills you lack. Convert the rejection letters into boosting power for you to move forward, both on the career ladder and on your personal development. Polish your skills everyday.
You don't need to put yourself on the "un-wanted" list of employers. Be confident! Be strong! Be a warrior (at least while being interviewed)! Know how to ease an interviewer's doubt on your communication skills.
If you work on those aspects of your job hunting skills, you will see dividents paid in due time (hopefully sooner than later).
