should I move on?

just started the job for few months in a big company, my supervisor is 70+, having good relationship with VP. One time in the lab, he critized me that I made a mistake in front of the technicians, I did not argue with him right away, but I argued right after we returned to the office, but he still thought he is right. So the second day I asked the technicians setup the test, the test verified my point. He was wrong. Then at the same day of my test, our manager came over to ask the test. My supervisor was so excited to say how he found my mistake in front of me, I could not endure, and said he was wrong. and showed him the result. He worked here for ten years, having strong relationship with VP.

This year I should not go for the performance review since I just started the job for few months. The manager did not give them marks for the new employee even six months before me. But my manager gave me 40 out of 100, under expectation. and explained a lot to me that the new engineer always got this kind of mark, etc. 70% of the engineers working here just can get 60 out of 100, blahblah.

There are only two engineers working in this field in my company, my supervisor (more than 70 years old )and I.

My question is that, should I move on? or this is normal.

Thanks!

他的解釋有些自欺欺人,私下和其他同事了解一下 -waitGC- 給 waitGC 發送悄悄話 (0 bytes) () 04/29/2009 postreply 03:42:07
