Description:
The Creative Director/Director of Multimedia Standards and Design will manage a diverse department that handles various creative projects, such as instructional design and Flash programming for our customized tutorials; design and Flash programming for all of our curriculum tools and games; design and implementation of all corporate and student/parent training; as well as all of our audio recording and video production needs.
The Director of MS&D must be an outstanding manager who can help a diverse group of designers and developers get projects done on schedule while maintaining a consistent level of high quality. The Director of MS&D must have an exceptional understanding of user interface design and interactive design and must be able to lead the team to create successful projects. The Director of MS&D must also possess excellent communication skills, be goal oriented, extremely self-driven and have a positive attitude.
REQUIRED SKILLS
8226;Bachelor’s Degree or higher
8226;Minimum of 4 years of interactive experience
8226;Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interactive Creative Director managing a team of designers
8226;Relevant design experience includes rich interactive applications, game development, motion graphics, web development, photography, and print advertising
8226;Experience using Flash, Action Script, Creative Suite is preferred
This person is overseeing a group of ten people that include:
* Tech Writers
* Instructional Designers
* Multimedia Designers
* Audio/Visual
* Web Designers
* Graphic Designers
* Project Coordinator
There is a heavy Project Manager component to this role as well. At any time, this person could be managing up to 50 projects simultaneously
