laidoff了,是否可以申請unployment insurance benefit?

想問問這裏的明白人, 我被laidoff了,綠卡是老公申請的,現在pending, 我是否可以申請unployment insurance benefit, 對綠卡申請有影響嗎? 先謝謝了.
