P.s.just heard from my previous colegues,I quit from that company 5 years ago.What happened now is instead of cutting people,they reduce your hours and encourage you take temporary leave which means your benefit will be gone,however,you can still apply for the full-time position once the economy recovered,but nobody knows when it will be.
This is tricky,eh.I would rather get a pink slip with the big check and collect EI based on the regular salary,once they put you down as a part-time employee,the EI you can collect will be at least 50% less.
