Unless you signed some contract for objective bonus,

most likely performance bonus is discretionary. That means employer can decide on whether to give you bonus and how much to distribute. Sure you can sue them if you don't get bonus or you think it's too low. But you need to spend tens of thousands of dollars to fight for a law suit which you probably are not going to win.
