Saw you wanna be a "Quant" ? You are serious or joking? every quant I know is racking their brains to get out of this area.

Truth is that: for past 2-3 years, being a quant is almost the top 1 dream of every PHD in science, creating such a over-flowing situation in I-Banks....

NOw almost no Investmment banks now.... quant are becoming the first to-be-laid-off in those ex-i-bank. Forget about thousands of experienced laid-off quants in the market, even without, you cannot find any openning for entry-level quant....


Just writing this to give you what I know... FYI only.
