One vacancy is located in the Assessor's Office. This position is responsible for supporting and enhancing a Microsoft.NET environment utilizing Windows Server 2008, Exchange 2007, SQL 2008, as well as clustered servers. The office utilizes advanced EMC Celera NAS/SAN with replication, VMware Infrastructure 3, and VMware View desktops as well as CISCO switch equipment, including the new 10GB Nexus 5000 series and Catalyst core switches. An ideal candidate for this position would typically possess highly skilled Desktop and Network experience to support a staff size of 242. The area of support is highly complex and very modern. Four years of network-oriented experience is highly desirable.
The second vacancy is located in the Tax Collector's Office. This position is in the development group developing a modern property tax system for the Controller's Department and the Tax Collector's Office. This position requires an experienced JAVA J2EE developer with at least 5 years of JAVA programming experience. Experience with developing JAVA applications using an Oracle database is also required.
The third vacancy is located in Valley Medical Center. This position requires project management experience in the deployment of technologies (network switches supporting voice and data, desktops, metro Ethernet connectivity) in new buildings, preferably in a medical and/or clinic office setting. Good communication skills are required to effectively work with future tenants in issues related to technology implementation.
