I don't get it,you make decision to stay longer.To me,you boss is a nice guy,at least he noticed that,when he came over and said hi to you,you were thinking that why there is no appreciation from him.what do you want? a bonus?

Excuse me,you can't finish your work on time then you have to stay late,that's your problem.And don't tell me that you cry at the workplace because of the depression which only provide a built-in emotional release valve—a catharsis but actually deep you down in terms of the negative or detrimental effects on performance reviews, promotions, and executive presence.
