In my case, I guess I accidentally volunteered

to deal with some tough collaborators. But in the end, it was not that bad. I am sure we all know we need a win-win situation. Once it is clear what the other party wants, and what you want, there is always a way to make compromise from both sides. So the key here is communication and a collaborative attitude.
