MBA classes should build solid foundation for Level I-II
Level III need some hands-on experience to pass, however I see any passed without.

Schewesser has notes target at each level which is simpler than official book.
Now CFA requires you to buy their official book, so I'd say follow the CFA books unless you running out of time.
