PeopleSoft is purchased by Oracle.
Oracle E-Business Suite 11i (or 12i) contains Financial package.
Oracle will continue support legacy PeopleSoft System for the coming ten years, but will transfer everything to Oracle e-business suite eventually.

Oracle Financial package is one of the most useful package of the ERP system, because regardless what kind business the company do, they will always involve finance.
