There are so many ABD's -- they need to work, then they have no energy left for dissertation (I'm not mentioning those who have no such a thesis at all).

It requires quite a bit strategy to get the whole up and running, and that's exactly why docs have value -- because they can manage that!:)

It has been many times I am asked this question at interview: "What's your particular strength?", my answer is always: "Stand to pressure and stress".
