Secondly, convince HR and the hiring manager that TN visa is fundamentally different from H-1B or any other "visa" they have in mind. It's not exactly a sponshorship like what they think. Remember HR people have the lowest IQ and initiatives in the professional world. If it's not in the book, they don't know what to do, and when they don't know what to do, they say no.
