請教：基因專業有前途嗎？

孩子選了基因專業。可是在三年級暑期到時實驗室打工後，意識到研究工作又累掙錢又少，表示堅決不做研究工作。請問這裏有經驗的人，這個時候改學什麽專業好，即不浪費所學的課程，有能學到實用技能，畢業後工作機會好？
