灣區裁員

昨天新聞報道Intel、微軟各裁員5000。微軟總部在西雅圖，彎曲山景城也有幾千人，估計影響不大。Intel 主要砍掉菲律賓和馬來西亞的工廠，彎曲的總部可能多少也會裁幾百。

Telecommunication industry is dead. Nortel is gone and so are many others bleeding to a slow death. 這個肯定會影響到彎曲，更多會影響到東部地區，因為那些大公司（Lucent etc.)的總部在東部。Nortel 在Dallas,TX和NC的分部都比彎曲的大，對那邊的影響一定大得多。

2000後，彎曲大裁員，幾個高速公路上眼看著車越來越少。起碼目前彎曲的高速還是一樣擁擠，大裁員的結果還沒有顯示出來，也許幾個月以後吧。
