Thank you for all the input.
This is a small company very flexible. I was paid last two times when I worked overtim. Actually the director asked me to send email to the manager to say how much hours I worked and what I did over the weekend and if you like it to be paid or to get extra day off. I ask it to be paid instead of get an extra day off and I finally got paid.

I was asked to work over last weekend and I assumed there will be $ with it. But this time when I asked my mentor, she said maybe no $. Shall I still email the manager tells him what I did and How long I worked over last weekend and states that I want to be paid.
