How soon can I get offer IF...

Thank you all for the inputs yesterday. And I have some more questions here.
I got on-site interview last Wednesday, right after the interview the screen committee called all my 3 references (2 references on Wednesday, and 1 on Thursday), so it is fast.
1.If they makes an offer to me (fingers crossed), how soon they will contact me?
2.Will they contact me via e-mail, phone or formal offer letter?
3. They have a salary start range (x ---- y), the position requires Bachelor with 2- year experiences, and I have about 9-year experiences with Master degree. How can I tell them I qualify for the highest salary of the starting salary range?

I have not been in the job market for nearly 8 years, so I am not familiar with rules now.
