Talk to general manager and ask invoice.  Tell him to pay invoice price -$300.

You need to do some homework before deal.  

Find how many days the car in this dealer.  If 90 days, the dealyer won't sell the car.  The car will transfer to other dealer. If it is only a few days, the price is highest.  90 days is lowest of intencive for the dealer.

Also, if at end of the month, you have more power to deal with.

Does dealer offer extended warranty?  Some Volvo dealer offer 100,000mile/7 years warranty withot a penny.

The deal is NOT # of dollar.  How much post cost?

Do you know how much oil change? ($120)
