Depends where you want to use it

Car use refrigerant R-134a or R-12(car made before 1994?)

Home A/C use refrigerant R-22 or R410a

There are other refrigerants too, but those are most populars.

Pressure ratings for different refrigerants are different, the connectors are also different.
