is only meaningful when you don't have the full insurance coverage AND you live in a high crime area. The battery of the LoJack needs to be replaced every two years. That is additional cost. I am not sure your contract already covers it or not.

You paid ertra premium for the Honda's long term reliability already. Why do you want to buy an extended warranty? And I believe Honda covers the engine and transmission for 5 yr/60,000 miles. I am not sure what the extended warranty is about. But I really couldn't think of anything that can cost $1,500 other than the engine and transmission repairs. Most of your money will be wasted.
